When using this product, hold the container 6 to 8 inches from your skin and spray with a slow, sweeping motion to evenly cover exposed areas. Avoid applying over cuts, wounds, freshly shaven, or irritated skin. Do not allow children to handle this product, and when using on children, apply it to your own hands first and then to the child.

For continued protection, reapply the repellent approximately every 8 hours or sooner if the effectiveness diminishes, but do not exceed 3 applications per day.
